Topic tags/keywords: overarm router overhead router plunge router pin router

To make a long story short….I got this for free from a guy that said he didnt need it as he would never use it – i offered to buy it off of him – but he said he didnt want any money…..i didnt argue! Works great – just needs a little touching up. Here is my first forum topic I posted on it, but i reposted it with actual pictures this time. If you’d like to see what it looks like brand new…click that link (brings you to my other LJ forum topic)

Here are some pics after getting it into the shop. It needs a little de-rusting and a new belt. Other than that its in great shape. Also need to find some bits for it!

3HP motor, a beast, sits on top….hopefully my shop is wired for this! Might have to check that out…..

I would like to see this when it’s all cleaned up and maybe showing how it works and what kind of cuts it can make.

Is that a three phase motor? You will find that info on the name plate as well as the voltages the motor will run on, good luck.

Poopie – I didnt have to kiss him! (thank god). however, he’s adding on/remodeling his house and I helped him unload 14 windows from the delivery truck – some of which were like 300+ lbs.

What a great gift. Having a 3 phase motor means you have to have 440 electrical service or a phase converter.
