Wax-be-gone?

Have a client who decided that the color wasn’t dark enough after I finished. Last coat of varnish cured up and I put on a coat of wax to finish. Need to know if wax needs to come off before glazing.

Expect to use transtint in the arm-r-seal to get some additional color.

Any ideas would be helpful.
