So we have been setting up our 5 hp cyclone. It is awesome and will serve us perfectly. I used 6” galvanized 24 g that is very strong and great quality. The price was “almost unreasonably” cheap. I refrained from passing this source along until I received the product. Many times if it seems too good to be true, well it usually is. But I took the gamble.

I’m turning in for the night but will update the source soon. I will say I bought 5 pieces of 24 g galvanized pipe that were 5’ long each, 3 wyes (6/6/6), 6-4 reducer, 2 pieces of 6” coupling, 1 6” elbow. I am not looking at my receipt so just pulling from memory, I paid less than 175.00 shipped to my door step. So the price was amazing. And the quality is great. I will be buying more from them soon. The guy who works for me, about 240 lbs, had to step on the pipe when fastening the seam lock together and his weight did not even cause any damage.

In fact I plan to change out my main trunk and go to 8” using this pipe. My cyclone is fitted with an 8” inlet port but I used a reducer down to 6.

Sorry I cannot give the source tonight as I am going to bed.

I just checked my email really quick. The link is www.globalindustrial.com. from there you need to run a search for galvanized pipe or galvanized duct. I looked at my receipt and it showed I paid exactly 166 including shipping. For example, a 6*60 galvanized 24g round pipe is 12.25 each. The Wyes are about 12.00 each. Shipping on my order was only 48.00 which I expected much more.

Anyway, I am certain someone out there is looking to do what we are doing and if this info can help someone then that would be great.

OK, this officially sucks. I juuuuust finished piping the whole shop with HD snap ducts for a lot more money and much lower quality. Oh well, next time I’ll know where to go. Thanks for info.

-- ok, is it cut once measure twice, cut twice measure once???? I know....I'll just keep cutting until it's long enough.

Yeah, that stinks when you find info after the project is complete. hopefully someone gets to benefit from the source. And also, I have no affiliation and recieve no payment for review. I only gain satisfaction from passing along a great source to friends here at LJ.

At a quiclck glance they certainly have great prices, and a great selection. Thanks for that!
