Starting 10/27, woodcraft as the Rikon 14” deluxe (10-325) bandsaw on sale for 799.99 plus a 100$ woodcraft gift card. This is a pretty sweet deal for someone looking for a decent 1.5hp bandsaw with a 13” resaw capacity. -- http://www.etsy.com/shop/KandJWoodCrafts |

SO , are you buying one? -- Bert |

I depends on what I do with my current saw. I found and bought a barely used 16” minimax bandsaw on CL. It’s missing some things that I don’t want to purchase, and the footprint is just too large for my shop. The mobile base works well, but to engage it I need the saw about a foot further from the wall than I would like it to be. |

For that price tag I will build a way bigger bandsaw mill, but sounds like a sweet deal anyway. -- Thomas - There is no such thing as a problem, there only are solutions. |

That’s almost tempting. I’ve been considering a couple of different Laguna saws, but of course they’re twice the money or more. Gah… decisions, decisions. Thanks for the heads-up, Joe. -- John, BC, Canada |

This is the saw I want to buy, and that is an awesome deal. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the cash right now. Oh well, another sale will come along at some point. -- Brian T. - Exact science is not an exact science |

Also if you are looking for a big saw, the 10-345 (2.5hp 18”) is 500$ off which makes it an even 1000.00 |

I bought the 14” Ricon Deluxe some time ago at $750 and absolutely love it. -- Roger M, Aiken, SC |

Son of a Bee. Probably can’t slip this one past the wife so soon after all the other stuff I’ve bought recently. -- jay, www.allaboutastro.com |

have had my Rikon 14” deluxe for 2 years now, and it’s a gem. I got mine on a similar type sale except it was $719 and a $50 gift card, bought 2 Olson All Pro blades with the card….LMAO -- a man never fails, he just quits trying. |

John, before I found the minimax I was considering Laguna as well. I decided it’s really too much saw for me and the Rikon 10-325 is perfect. Actually the 14” craftsman would work well for my needs, but the Rikon will give me a lot of room to grow into. If the current prospective buyer for the MiniMax takes the deal, I’ll be headed over to woodcraft to load one up. |

On my local classified, this morning there is a “hardly” used 18” Grizzly for $400.00, very tempting except that I really do not have the use for, I just would like to have one. -- Bert |

I’ve been scouring CL for a BS. I’ve even been considering a new BS. This sale comes at a great time. Any idea how long the sale price will be honored??? -- Randy-- I may not be good...but I am slow! |

Through 21 November. Even better if you have a woodcraft near you, you can save on the shipping charge. That is usually a decent chunk of change |

Don’t know what your thoughts are about Grizzly , Joe , but this unit is in Agawam : )
-- When did quiet and quite become the same word ? I'm guessing about the same time as your and you're did. |

I drive by the Seattle Woodcraft store in a couple of weeks so I could take the truck down… I just have to pay the sales tax twice (WA state and BC when I cross back into Canada). So, that adds about 21% to the cost. $800 = tax = $968, and that’s if they don’t hit me with an import duty at the border. Oh, and I’d get a $100 gift card. Locally, I can buy the saw for $929 + 12% sales tax. So that’d be $1040 all in. And no gift card. Now, I just have to find a grand to spend… :) -- John, BC, Canada |
