Hello,can anyone tell me the difference between the legacy 1000 & the 1500 ?

I think the 1000 is a bit longer ( I have one) and there
are some design differences so parts are not
all compatible. The 1500 replaced the 1000 I think
as the premium, motorized model for turning long
pieces.

My legacy says its a model 1000, has a motorized drive,turn table,.25 & 2x gears plus all the standard gears,forward ,reverse ,about 8 ft long,the only thing that I don’t have is the z axis adjustment..it’s about 10 yrs old
Looks like everything the 1500 has .just wondering what the difference is / was.
