I dont want to complaint but if you look at one man junk number 3 winner has a 100% junk and number 1 has maybe 5 to 10 % junk .For me an independent panel should chose the winners same with the othe 2 contest some winner makes no sence .

as with all voting, everyone has their own opinion as to how to interpret the categories and what is pleasing to them.

Sometimes it doesn’t make sense to others but.. everyone has their own opinion.

GMman, I can understand your point. There were a couple of blog topics where the subject came up about what fits the definition of “one man’s trash”. In the end, we all pretty much agreed that it would be best just to leave it up to the voters to decide.

Now I, on the other hand, have a valid and serious complaint. I beleive 3rd Place is the most important place in any contest, and thus should receive the biggest prize!

I totally agree GM … everyone has he right to share his/her opinion.
Martin has built this site not only on his own vision but on the feedback provided by its members.

Charlie.. I think you are right ! Lol 3rd is like the “First” of the winners… and FIRST is very important :)

Martin, are the monthly e-mags available online anywhere? If not, could they be posted as a blog?

I keep not receiving the e-mags. Well, actually I’ve received some but not all of them. I haven’t received the last 2 even though I get all other LJ emails. Did you not put enough postage on it for foreign email?

Or maybe converted to a pdf for download and printing, in case someone wants to keep back issues that might be worth something someday to a very select few of millionaire woodworkers…

there you can find all of the past issues.

Martin will have to help you with the missing mail and the extra postage needed :)

Thanks Debbie. Exactly what I was looking for.

I love your ‘Tutorial and how-to’ summaries because it really is like an eMag – gives me a heads up on all of the interesting posts I missed. Will Lumberjocks stay as an online entity forever or might there be a print version in the works? I’d be willing to plant a few extra trees for that.

..and all that talk about summer – will come in handy once we get into spring here on the other side of the globe ;)

Hey, there was some kind of survey conducted recently, too. Missed that as well. Something definitely up with the franking machine.
