Chestnut finishing oil

Hello,
Anyone know if chestnut finishing oil is available in the USA. I’ve pretty much searched the obvious woodworker
retailers and have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If so, that is probably Chestnut Finishing Oil, not a finishing oil made from chestnut. Chestnut does not have any North American distribution, but I think you will find you get very similar results with a tung oil or tung oil blend finish – just make sure it has a high percentage content of real tung oil. Lots of ‘tung oil finishes’ do not.
