I think you can get an owners manual on the mfg website if it is still up I am not familiar with this saw but the saws are all basically the same. What are you having trouble with ? -- Please check out my new stores http://woodratnest.com and http://woodshopstore.com |

You got THAT for $700? Sweet… If it’s not on the web, I’m sure SCMI could provide a manual. Nice saw! |

It’s a three horse, three phase and I would like to replace it with a three horse single phase. I’ve been reading and because it is made in Italy, it may be metric. Will this be big enough or should I and can I go bigger? Also I would like to see if anyone may have any advice about what to do and what not to do when using it for milling. |

What do you want to cut? That’s a serious saw… I don’t recall SCMI making any junk! |

Mainly eastern red but maybe some black walnut and hickory. I like making log and rustic furniture. Hoping to use it for slabing small stuff for live edge. |

nice deal. with almost a 5 hp motor, would a VFD get you at least 3 usable hp and permit you to keep the original motor with no meaningfulreductin in functional performance? i have to believe a 5 hp 1ph motor is going to be pricey: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?189669-Running-my-3-phase-bandsaw-using-a-VFD -- there's a solution to every problem.......you just have to be willing to find it. |

I hope it has a working brake pedal. -- A positive attitude will take you much further than positive thinking ever will. |
