This is the neatest thing to come along in a long time and it’s about time. Nothing worse than trying to do DC on an miter saw, but now it looks easy.

I may have to get me one of these.

Roussou 5000 Miter saw dust collection system.

The guy standing behind my miter saw when I plowed into some walnut would have appreciated this. :)

I’m glad you linked that Ted, I lost it while researching price. I found this other one, but apparently it’s not in the US yet. The old hardshell is available but it wont fit like these will in the accessory holes of the saw.

My ryobi has a 2.5” hose fitting on the back of the blade guard, with a hepa filter in the “5hp” shop vac I had so little dust after cutting the oak flooring for a 200sqft room that I just used a wet dust cloth to finish after sucking up just underneath the saw itsself, is this thing really that necessary? I assumed all the decent brands had just such a fitting if my POS did.

This looks good! These saws are messy!

A vacuum attachment by itself doesn’t really do any good!
