Charles Neil has just put up the first project in what will be a series of free woodworking projects online. The first project is a Shenandoah Valley Quilt Rack
In episode 1 he covers the design of the quilt rack. He talks about prepping the lumber along with laying out and cutting the mortise and tenon joints. In the next episode that they hope to have up by this weekend he will explain how to do the same thing using biscuits. One of the other things that he shows is how to work around problems like not having enough wood to get your pattern on. Another thing that he will be showing is how to handle sap wood when it comes to finishing.
