Anyone have one? I just got one and thought it would have the levelers included with it but they are no where to be found in the package. Did I misunderstand the description and I have to purchase them seperately or were they left out of my package?

You have to buy them separately. IMHO, I’d return the plate and get either a woodpecker or incra aluminum plate. One knock against the kreg plate is the inserts; on the woodpecker and incra they’re easily removed without having to undo screws. On top of that, the kreg plate is phenolic, which might not sag over time, but still isn’t as good as aluminum for a plate.

With the levelers factored in, the kreg plate approaches the price of the woodpecker or incra plates.

If you want a good phenolic plate, the woodpecker tlr phenolic is the way to go.

Ah damn, thats annoying the description of the plate talks about how much better it is because of those levelers.

The truth is you can make the same leveler system with a few scraps of wood and some hardware commonly available.

For the leveler blocks (the black kreg parts) any stable hardwood like oak or maple would work just fine. From there, threaded inserts or t-nuts with machine screws inserted and adjusted from the bottom handle the leveling.

The kreg levelers aren’t any better than a diy solution, certainly not $20 worth.

Kreg got back to me to tell me that they are not included with the plate. I know I can make something very similar but I was going for quick and easy. The description of their router plate sure makes it sound like it comes with them, which was the deciding factor on me buying that plate. It’s not a bad plate but I am disappointed about the confusing descrption on their website.
