Clicking the img button wouldn’t result in a valid ‘browse’ window for images. It does now, and I love that it works.

It doesn’t work for me. The “Choose File” button is still grayed out. Do I need to upgrade to iOS 6 you think?

I’m on iO6, yes, on this ‘new iPad’

And maybe that’s what fixed it, don’t know, but it’s sure nice and I wanted to pass along the working feature because I’ve talked about it not working in the past…

Not working for me on 5.1…. I’m waiting to update to 6 until they fix Maps. Will be nice to be able to post pics from the iPad, though.

Scott, that sux. I did jump recently from ‘1’ to ‘3’ for more storage AND for the cameras. Needed picture taking ability and the editing capabilities that came along with that. My kids are using the 1 alot, so does the wife, so it worked out for everyone just fine.

John – I looked at Maps last night because of your post, and my house address appeared on the wrong side of the street. There’s a ‘report error’ button that I pushed that sent a notice to Apple. That’s supposed to initiate a correction action (people reporting problems) so we’ll see… FWIW.

Well, I floated the “I upgrade to a ‘3’ and give the kids my ‘old’ iPad” idea to the wife tonight. She looked at me dead pan and asked why. I knew the ability to post pics on LJ’s directly just wouldn’t have the same gravity with her as me so, I just changed the subject.

Smitty, yeah, I’ve heard all kinds of horror stories about the new Maps app, and since I actually use mine for fairly frequent international travel, I’m gonna wait until they get that sorted out before I update.
