Topic tags/keywords: resource plane

Just picked this up at a yard sale for $4.00, gonna throw it up on Ebay and see what it brings.. does not have original iron in it, but all else seems to be good. Has a Stanley iron, but not the liberty bell iron… All I did was flatten the back and put a good edge on the iron.. I will be putting it up in the next couple days.. if anyone here is interested before it goes up.. give me a shout.. Papa

I have one of those plane which I have restored.
The wood body has new coats of shellac.
The metal parts have been repainted. The blade has been sharpened.

I always though the transitional planes look very neat. I have as much restoring the tansitional plane as the all metal ones.

I do have trouble with the depth adjust level on my bell. it is just too sensitive.

I’ll give you $8. That’s 100% profit. :)
