I haven’t been here for quite some time. We are building a log home in Tennessee. I may need some advice or instructions on cutting the dovetail corners on the logs. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices they are asking for the dovetail jigs to cut the corners. There has to be a more feasible way of doing this. Can someone help me with instructions to build a jig? I will be using “D” style logs. They are 8” tall X 6” wide. Please help!!!!!!!!!
