Topic tags/keywords: question dust collection hose quick disconnect

I use a 4” flexable hose to connect my dust collector to various machines. Currently I use a plastic tapered end that pushes onto the machine’s dust connection. Unfortuantly, sometimes this friction connection slips of and I find that the dust collector was collecting nothing.

After some poking around on the Internet I came across a solution from Woodworkers Supply called the FAZLOK quick disconnect

Does anyone have any experience with these? Or is there an alternative?

Used that system for 3 years or so and it worked great. Just sold it all because we switched to fixed duct work.
