The local pawn shop has this sander for $49. It is used but in very good condition. Is this a good price? Any comments on this sander? Good or bad??

After reading reviews on this sander, it appears that even at $49 it isn’t a good sander. My budget is only $50-$60, so I have to rely on Craigslist or pawn shops. I did see where HF has a coupon for their disc/belt sander, only $54.99. So whats better? A new HF model with warranty or a Delta from a pawn shop with horrible reviews and no warranty?

If the reviews are that bad a HF might be better or just sitting and waiting. I haven’t heard anything terrible about the HF model and have been considering it but have decided to hold out for more at the moment. Although there are still a number of tools I really need to make woodworking simpler and easier I’ve decided not to move on any new ones till I can afford the nicest one I would want. Hence currently I’m saving towards the new deluxe delta spindle sander.
