Topic tags/keywords: question

Would anyone have a copy of the Google Sketch Up file that Cantil3V3R was offering to share when he first posted this project back in 2009?

I want to make a similar set of shelves and the one item that I can’t quite figure out are the various shelf depths. I would contact the OP but it appears that he hasn’t been on this site in over two years.

Mr. Bill

There are a couple of designs in 3D Warehouse, one of which might suit you

(open Sketchup, then File/3D Warehouse/Get Models and search for ‘Leaning Wall Shelves’)

I have built 3 sets of these and had the same question you have re:shelf depth. I solved mine by cutting the uprights, clamping them to my bench or lean against the wall, and then just measure to the wall/bench for each shelf. Not as elegant as Sketch Up but it worked well on all 3 sets. The benefit of this method is you can space your shelves to fit your needs. Wood Magazine had these featured with plans some time ago.
