Well ive been stalking a craigslist post for over a month now for supposedly new Stanley 750 chisels. 8 piece with the pouch. Started at $175, then to $150, and as of Friday it went to $120. I was the first to call and today i picked them up. I didnt ask what truck they fell off of nor do i care. Here’s the money, thanks for the chisels. I cradled and caressed them the entire way home.
Now i havent touched them to a stone, worksharp or the strop but im dying to do so. A proper home is also in order. -- "there aren’t many hand tools as awe-inspiring as the #8 jointer. I mean, it just reeks of cast iron heft and hubris" - Smitty |

Sweet score on the chisels. Looks like the stalking paid off. I love me some chisels, so I am a little envious, I admit it! Congrats. |

Thanks CJ Doordude – plenty of whishes for planes but i think i might have used up all my luck on these chisels. Id love to bump into a #112 and a #71. Mostly the router plane though.
