I picked one up a few weeks back of ebay for a pretty nice price. I had to remove the tables to be able to move it. It was so heavy. I managed to get it down to my basement workshop. I finally got the jointer tables aligned after messing around with them for the better part of two weeks. Now I just need to get a new plug for it. I can’t wait to start using it!

I had one of those, an older one, for several years. It was a
powerful machine. The lock-down levers will get you though –
you have to learn to tighten each just right to bring the
tables into alignment when you go from planer to jointer

Yes I have experienced that. I have adjusted them so they just hold the tables snug but don’t pull them down.

Its been a while since you purchased this. Was it worth it? I’ve got a 6” right now, and I have a line on the XSDB310…
