Wanted to give a shout out to all of you who prayed for and thought good thoughts for my Mom, she is doing much better and has almost no lasting effects from her stroke.. I spent the last 5 weeks living with her to keep her from having to go to the nursing home. Again.. My THANKS.. to you all.. Now that I am back home I can get back to the wood.. so watch for some projects to pop up very soon… you guys are the best…thanks again.. Papa

Thanks great news papa.

I know how it is. My brother and I switched off for 2 years caring for mom before we had to get her to a nursing home.

Thanks Joe, that will be my winter project this year. Hoping to get that and a foot powered band saw done over the cold months.. Right now I am updating my shaving horse.. saw some really good ideas in a book by Landis that shows some of the really old horses.. I like things old.. if they have been working good for a couple hundred years, they should work good for me.. Its just good to be back working with the wood,, I really missed it.. Don’t let my wife know.. she thinks it was her… lol….Papa
