I used some shellac without decanting to eliminate the wax, the plan was to seal a redwood burl lid, then lacquer it.
unforturnately, I hadnt had my coffee yet and grabbed the wrong can.
any help on my option?
not too familiar with shellac.

You can always wash it off with some DNA and start over (after your coffee). Wash off and recoat with dewaxed. You’ll be good.
