Topic tags/keywords: delta mortiser mortise Howdy all. I have some surplus equipment that I am starting to get rid of and I would rather see it go to a Lumberjock than some stranger on EBay. I am asking $150.00 for this baby plus whatever it costs me to get it to you. It works great, but I have a Jet unit that I prefer. Hope everybody is doing well. |

I just purchased the exact same unit off of CL earlier in the summer….they are solid machines. I’m setting mine up with a slide table vise that I’ve had kicking around. Your asking price is right about what I found the going rate to be. -- It’s the knowledge in your head, skill in your hands and motivation to create in you heart that makes you a woodworker. - Mainiac Matt |

SSNVET – Thanks so much for your post. I’m glad to know I am not over/under pricing this thing. |

These are definitely solid machines. I put mine to the max test mortising out Ipe for my in-laws deck railings; about 70 Lft with a hole every 4 inches. I did manage to brake the roll pin that connects the handle to the machine but was an easy fix and i replaced it with a solid steel pin. I wouldn’t expect it to break on any domestic woods. Ipe is extremely hard. Well worth the price listed. i still have mine 8 years later and it comes in handy for quick mortising here and there. -- In the end, when your life flashes before your eyes, will you like what you see? |

Perhaps you’d be kind enough to edit the title to indicate sold. Thank you. DanK -- Dan Krager, Olney IL http://www.kragerwoodworking.weebly.com One should always prefer the probable impossible to the improbable possible. |
