Topic tags/keywords: question I am looking for a decent bandsaw mill that’s fairly economical to get started with. Lower mid-size maybe. What’s everyone’s recommendations? -- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it. - It's not ability that we often lack, but the patience to use our ability |

Whatever you get expect to change the engine. Mine (Amish made “log rise”) came with a 25h honda gas engine. Now it has a 40h izuzu diesel….. much stronger!!!
& after owning my stationary mill, I would recommend a mobile mill. But that will cost more. I also have a forklift I picked up for 1500. I messed up & got the one with solid tires & it rips up my asphalt on hot days, & gets stuck at the drip of a hat.. If you get a forklift get the one with air tires. Those are about double the cost of the solid tire ones. -- Ted, TX or PA www.around-the-bend.com |
