Topic tags/keywords: sander belt question resource

I am in the need of a drive belt (cog belt) part #1346364 for a Delta model 31-695 6×48 sander. I searched many sites for one in stock. Seems I cannot find the right place to buy one. Suggestions please. Thanks

That doesn’t appear to be a normally stocked item.. pretty much all the normal channels list it as special order, so you gotta wait a little bit longer to get it. e-replacementparts.com indicate that it will leave their warehouse in 9-12 days.. toolpartsdirect seem to indicate 30+ days.. But at least they all seem to indicate they are available. Is this something that you have to have like yesterday and looking for some place that can overnight it or something? If not, I’d just put in your order and wait it out.. maybe buy two if you think it’s something you will need again in the future.

Cheers,
Brad

I totally agree with Rick.

My thanks to all who answered to try to help. I had already checked the first 2 suggestions which leads one to believe that there was no stock to be had. Called a repair station in Louisville talked with a great person named Brenda who said she would check other repair stations and found only one place with stock. It was in St. Louis she gave me the phone number. Called and talked to another nice counter person who got me two on the way today. I guess some never learn but with all the bad comments about Delta customer service makes me wonder if they even have stock. If any of you folks need a belt I will share.

I’ll agree with Rick, with one additional piece of information. The DeWalt service centers have the contract for Delta service and repair, so I would call them first.
