Looking for used/recycled decking materials in NJ

Go to www.craigslist.com and click on New Jersey in the states column. Then select a city near you. Look under the catagory “free” in the “for sale” column. I see decking materials listed all the time on there. Quite often it will be listed as firewood or scrap wood. You can also do a search in craigslist using a “wood” as a keyword. Good Luck!

Try freecycle.org, too. It works sort of like craigslist but I think you need to get a yahoo email address to use it.

-- Made lots of sawdust and pounded some nails. Haven't finished anything, though.
