My lovely bride located a transitional plane this past weekend at a local flea market and thought I might be interested. She said it had a bell on it and was only $15. I told her to wait and I would take a look. When I got there I see it is a Stanley #127. There are some cracks in the base I will need to deal with and it looks like the blade is not original.
I also picked up this square for $2. It appears to be copper plated. It’s 24×18.
It also has rafter table info on the base.
But I’m not sure what the info on the tongue is all about. Anyone help me out on that?
