Topic tags/keywords: question greene and greene

I noticed a tag called ‘greene and greene’ and wondered what that is. I looked at the projects listed under that tag but I couldn’t tell from that. Just wondering, looking to increase my information database.

Go to Taunton Press & order “Arts & Crafts Furniture” by Kevin Rodel and Jonathan Binzen. Good book. Good info and inspiration. bbqKing

Popular Woodworking have an excellent article this month on a couple of the ultimate bungalows that they built back in the early 1900’s. Some common features are cloudrifts, ebony accents (plugs) and lots of mahogany. I think I have it right :-)

Take a peek at this blog – http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/ChicoWoodnut/blog/4899

ChicoWoodnut did a wonderful job on a piece of G&G furniture.

Thanks for all the information. I have checked out most of the websites that you shared and am smarter now then I was this morning. I like this style, I’ve seen this before but didn’t know what it was called. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the plug Zuki. Now I just gotta finish them. A drawer making blog entry is in the making. And if I may add a shameless plug the blog starts here

I hope Darrell hangs around. He could add a lot to the site.

Darrell,

I’m a huge fan of your work. I recently purchased your book “Greene and Greene: Design Elements for the Workshop”. I haven’t had a chance to really dive into it yet, but so far it is a good read! AND it looks like it will be a great reference.
