This model seems to have been discontinued and the bed extension is no longer available. I have found nothing that will match up to it. The bolt patterns are wrong or else the ways are not the same size.
Appreciate any help if you have one for sale.
Thanks

I hate to say it, but you may be in for a really tough search. Black and Decker sold their Delta line off to a company that brought it back to America for production, but they are not producing the full line of tools yet and the Delta-Black and Decker-Porter Cable repair centers are still owned by Black and Decker thus no longer servicing Delta, or doing so with a very limited supply of parts. If ereplacement parts website does have what you need, you are likely going to have to hunt for a used bed extension. Chances are a used extension will be attached to a used lathe.

There seems to be a great deal of questions surrounding Delta and their support for past and future products. I really hope you find something and that Delta America can regain the title of a great American tool company.

Thank you for your response Justin. I had no idea that all these companies were intermixed. I guess thats the way it is anymore.
I really like this little lathe and didn’t pay too much for it. I am thinking of building my own bed. Then it would be any length I want.

Thanks again

The part you need is 46-855. These are discontinued and e replacement the part and repair provider for the old Delta Blacka and Decker name no longer has any in stock. You might search the forums, sometime people have tried the Penn State Industries lathe extension with some luck.

Thanks again Justin. I really apreciate your working on this. I guess I will just keep this little guy as a midi lathe and work on getting a larger one in the future

Thanks again Bob

You can do what I did. Find another lath in rough shape or one with the similar bed detentions and spacing and weld it to a homemade base. It worked great for me.

Hey Bob, I have that thing & have never used it , I live in southern Indiana though. There is a chance I will be near you on a Duck hunting trip around or just after first of the year.
Let me know if your still looking for one & well see if we can get together. Greg
