Topic tags/keywords: plane blade

I recently picked up a Stanley low angle block plane. I can’t find any markings, but, from the research I’ve done I believe it to be a #60 1/2.

I grabbed this at a swap meet for a couple bucks and in my haste I didn’t realize that it was missing the sliding throat plate, knob and adjuster. Does anyone out there know where to go for parts for this? I’ve tried Stanley but haven’t gotten very far with them. Thought I’d ask my fellow ‘jocks first.

You can try ebay and the like. Ive used a stanley knock off for parts on my 60 1/2. I believe it has all the parts your lookin for if interested. I think it was a wood river? I think tgey marked those planes on the left cheek.

Thanks for the help,

I’ve sent Deycart the measurements and if that doesn’t work I’ll try eBay for an off brand like chrisstef suggested.
