I had to find a way to work on project in my very small basement shop. The largest open space is between the band saw and the joiner and that is slightly less than 60”. I used to set up projects on a makeshift table made from 2 saw horses and a piece of plywood. That meant I had to walk around the joiner, past the table saw to get to the other side of the table. This table uses 2 pieces of 3/4” plywood and a 12” lazy susan bearing. Now I can be at one location ans rotate the project to where I am standing. It sure saves some steps!
To make sure the table does not rotate when not needed, the dowel pin locks the top and bottom tables together.
