I completed a Morris chair this weekend using the plans that were posted on another Jock’s project post. I was able to get through it, but the instructions were hard to decipher in some places, at least for me. So I took out Sketch Up and illustrated the build where I thought things were a little tough and add a few of my own changes.

It includes a cut list with total board feet, the original plans and the sketch up model images. You can download them here from my Drive account.

I hope they are helpful.

The original plans have good notes on screws, routing etc. so I left out that kind of detail. I built mine out of cedar planks, but I think any wood is applicable.

Enjoy!

Nick
