I recently acquired the Delta TS220LS benchtop table saw from craigslist. The saw had been sitting in the previous owner’s garage for a long time and it needed some TLC. I am currently working on cleaning and setting it up. I think that it will be a good learning experience about the machine before I use it on a consistent basis.

When I bought the saw, the owner didn’t give me any wrenches to remove the blade. I have a number of wrenches but they are too thick to be useful. I can order them from Delta (the 11.00 shipping sucks :) but I was wondering if I can find the wrenches in the big box orange or blue stores. That way I can work on it over the labor day weekend. The table saw has 5/8” bore.

Any guidance / information on this will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Get some from HF and grind them to the thinness you need, be careful not to overheat.

I found thinner wrenches I needed for my Ridgid saw at a local tool store.

Thanks Jim and Bondo. I will first check the local big box store. If that doesn’t work out, I will follow Bondo’s advice.
