Hardware for installing fence on new Grizzly bandsaw?

Yesterday I went and got my new Grizzly G0513X2BF bandsaw from the Springfield, Missouri, location. Today I am putting it together and mating it to the Shop Fox mobile base. Grizzly Tech Support said to put a 3/4 to 1" plywood raiser so that the bottom door will open. I can confirm that this is necessary.

I started looking to assemble and attach the fence and have two problems:
1. The cast iron fence I received (supposed to be an upgrade from their low end fence) did not come with installation instructions. The manual talks about the low end fence. I did find on the Sub-Assemblies page a diagram showing the cast iron fence and mounting hardware, but no assembly instructions.
2. There does not seem to be any hardware to mount the front rail to the table or the resaw fence to the regular fence.

I have e-mailed Grizzly and am awaiting a response (although I am not holding my breath).

Can anyone confirm whether I should have received installation instructions and hardware?

Thanks

The front rail on my 17" Grizz is bolted to the table with hex head bolts. The resaw fence attaches to the cast iron fence with a single T head type bolt through the cast fence with the head sliding in the groove on the alum resaw fence. There are 2 slots on the resaw fence that allow it to be installed either in the flat or upright (tall) positions. Hope this helps.

gfadvm: do you recall if the mounting hardware came with your bandsaw? I would think that it should.

I have e-mailed Grizzly (e-mail to establish a proper paper trail) asking them if I should have received the mounting hardware. I will wait and see if they respond.

Jesse,

Just bought the 17" bandsaw myself and came to install the fence and ran into the same issue. Did you just go to the hardware store and pick up a couple more bolts. It seems to me that all I am missing in 2 of the 3 bolts I need to secure the base brackets to the bottom of the cast iron top. They have not updated there instructions, but the photo on there website, if your looking at he 17" shows the new style of fence and attachment. Guess you have to figure it out on your own as to how it all goes together…good times.

Any info on how you solved issue is much appreciated…
