Just went by sears for a toss away saw blade. They had 10in CM Professional blades on clearance. I snagged a 24t rip and a 60t x-cut for $17/$22 respectively. They are both made in Italy and look to be rebadged, last generation Freud products. I haven’t tried either yet, so this is not a review. But I’m confident I got two respectable blade for under $40.
Obviously stock/price will vary by location. YMMV

Not that I care much, but our Sears bit the dust a few months back. All remaining stock was dumped in our lousy K-mart and a local Ace Hardware, who jacked the prices sky-high. Doubt I’ll be able to get any of these.

i was in a local sears this morning and was stunned by the paucity of benchtop tools, many of which had yellow clearance stickers on them. could this be the beginning of the venerable chains death throws?
