I am fixing to pull the trigger on purchasing a new high grade dado set for my Unisaw and have almost
settled on the CMT. But, since you guy’s are such a resource, I thought I would ask your opinions
before I purchase one. I have no experience with any other set, other than my old antique Craftsman
set. Your input, as always, is appreciated.

CMT are made in Italy. Their router bits are pretty good, but I don’t know of anyone who has bought their dado set.

If you get it make sure to post a review after you have used them for a while.

As the owner of a CMT 8” 24 tooth dado set I’m very happy.

Used mostly for dado’s in plywood and mdf. The set I purchased came with a good assortment of shims. Dado’s are clean (little to no splinters) and have flat bottoms.

I don’t have anything that I can comapre it to, I can just say that I’m a happy camper with mine.
