Took my wife to see the Doobie Bros and Chicago for her birthday.

Apparently they’ve been touring together for the last couple years and let me tell you, these guys are putting on an awesome show.

They’re not spring chickens, but there must be something good in the water, because they’re getting better with age! We’re talking serious musical talent.

Both my wife and I are pushing the back end of mid-40s, so I was surprised to see that we were in the younger 1/3 of the crowd. But given that the show sold out months ago… I guess that speaks something for demographics and music appreciation :^)

DB played first … Then Chicago… then both bands came out and played 6 songs together!!!! What a treat… they were obvioulsy havin’ a ball on stage and the audience was too.

If you like these bands, and the show comes anywhere near to where you live… don’t miss out. You will not be disapointed. Definately not your typical “401K tour”.

I didn’t even know I liked the Doobie Brothers until recently. I’m jealous.

Two of my favorite groups. I’ll have to look and see if they are coming my way.

Awesome! I saw Chicago Way back in the 1970’s before the original Lead Guitarist shot himself. it was great! we had 4th row center seats! Never got to see the doobie bros, that must have been amazing!

One of my favorite bands of all time! Bad I missed their show!
