Any ideas for a wood cooler? Any way to keep the melting ice from making a mess? Some sort of liner?

Thanks

Do a search in projects. I think you’ll find most of them are coolers covered with wood

Use a Styrofoam cooler from someplace like Omaha Steaks and build around it.

I have a design for ones in styrofoam and there are several who have much nicer ones on this site. Some are converted coolers wrapped in wood, some use a sheet metal lining with a drain. Your question does make me wonder if an epoxy coating on the inside would work as well. Food for thought.
