I like the table…a lot. Very good job. Is the tabletop level with the tops of the legs? Oh, I almost forgot…congratulations.

Man, what won first place!!!!? It’s absolutely stunning. I like the subtle suspension of the top and the wood was well chosen. I have a feeling that the legs are more complicated than they appear by these photos. it’s wonderful. Congratulations for a well deserved recognition.

thanks everyone! it was a lot of fun. I still believe I even placed. there was one other piece that got first that had this amazing inlay. The legs are a little taller than the bench top itself. I can’t wait til next year! I talked to the coordinator and she thought that the Judges really love my piece, so I told her I would be coming back next year with a couple more pieces. she said she couldn’t wait to see them.

I remember this table. Looks even better with that ribbon on top. Good job, congratulations on placing at the fair.
