I noticed in the “Pulse” someone’s unnecessarily long project title pushes the “activity since you last viewed” (or what ever it’s title is) gets pushed off the viewable area…

Maybe there needs to be a character limit for the titles of things? Or if nothing else, set a “max-width” for the title sell when it displays in the pulse/project page/forum, etc… That way it wouldn’t cause this issue. Not sure how often it happens, but that’s just the developer in me lol

edit: this seems to do the trick (in firefox, at least) and this is specific to the pulse page

#activities td.title { max-width: 300px; overflow: hidden; }

edit2: This seems to do it for the project page (again, in firefox, haven’t tried in IE, Chrome, etc)

#projects h3 { font-size: 100%; margin-bottom: 0.1em; margin-top: 0.2em; max-width: 200px; overflow: hidden; }

Yeah, I thought the same. I mean… how long does a title need to be?

If you know at a certain size it’ll destroy your formatting, limit it beforehand.

The developer in me was thinking the same Mos.
