What kind of mobile bases do you guys like. I purchased a Shopfox mobile base and it was, in my opinion,
a piece of junk. Would appreciiate any feedback on your experiences with different bases. I am looking for
one to put my new Rikon bandsaw on to make it moveable.

Here is the base that I put on my bandsaw. It is relatively cheap ($45.99) but you have to supply your own stretchers made from 1 1/2” hardwood.

But to tell you the truth the one I really prefer is the one I put on my drill press. I bought 4 casters at Lowe’s and used some off cut 2×4s to make the base. It is not pretty but it works.

Make your own and use a good set of wheels and two with locks.
