Craftsman 1/2 hp 15" drill press- info needed

The local Sears Outlook store has this drill press (model #22900) for $179, in store sale price right now is $424.88. That’s a considerable discount. I have been trying to stay away from Crapsman tools, but this looks like a pretty good deal.

Does anyone have any comments, or does anyone currently use this press?

You can get this on craftsman.com for $250. Its still a pretty good price for a full sized drill press, but I wouldn’t expect amazing performance. Reviews look just so-so.
