Seems to be missing an adjustment crank.

this is the first jet I’ve seen for under $600

Is it worth $250??

Thanks!

Looks like a good unit to me. I bet that outfeed crank is kicking around somewhere and was taken off so no one messes with the outfeed adjustment. Sharp blades would be a bonus.

That looks identical to mine, save that mine is white. Great unit, use it 4-5 times a week. I’d scarf that up if the motor runs and the cutter wheel is true. You can get a handle easily enough or just switch the other since you only use them for setup. Have not touched mine in months. Only thing I do is use it, clean it, oil it and change the blades out when they need it.

Good deal IMO. It’s a well proven tool that has reviewed well under several names….it’s from the same factory, and is pretty much the same jointer as the Grizzly 1182’s, Sunhill, older GI, Bridgewood, Woodtek, Craftex and others.

Here’s one that’s very similar, same asking price….I’d be inclined to offer $200, and see what they say.

This Reliant jointer isn’t a bad tool. Might be worth asking what he’d sell it for.
