You can.. but remember how thick the kerf of the table saw blade is. You get more waste on the table saw. Also, you are limited to less than half the width of your table saw. You may get veneers that are only 4 to 4.5 inches wide with a 10 inch blade. Lastly, remember to leave enough wood for sanding to get your veneers smooth by sanding later -- making sawdust.... |

If you are planning to make veneer from 4/4 stock you’ll find In a pinch though the table saw is fine. I use it for resawing -- Need help with marketing your business? Look in my profile. |
