This is listed on CL for $80. Seems like a good deal. But do you think it’s a cheap harbor freight type bench? It looks like it could be one of those, but also looks like it could be a decent, possibly higher end bench. What do you think. I guess either way, it’s probably worth $80 in wood. I just don’t have the space for it at the moment, but might find a way…

I would snap that up for $80. It looks very sturdy. The two vises are probably worth that much.

If the whole top is that thick, I’d say its not HF. The vices look to be worth that much at least. Id grab it fast.

You couldn’t build a bench like that for $80…...the material would cost more than that…..go for it…..!!

Grab that sucker! That’s a steal. Make room for it if you have to.

Where on Craigslist is this listed? ;-) $80 for that bench is a no brainer. Does the kitty come with it?

Definately not HF. They have drawers across the top and the legs are not square, more like 2×4s.
I’d say that’s the real deal.

Thanks everyone, I emailed them, we’ll see… I’ll make room for it somehow until the shop is ready for it
It’s on Philadelphia CL, I just hope the kitty didn’t piss on it

THe planks on the table top alone are worth > $80 bucks….add the vises and you’re well into the 150-200 range…any questions what you should do?

Buy it for $80, use it to build an even better bench, then sell the CL bench for 3-4 times what you bought it for…
