I realize this is under the heading Non Shop Talk, and it’s not about the shop.

It’s about what comes out of the shop.

This chair just out today. Perhaps another tomorrow. The arms and back are cedar fencing, very thin wood, but I think it’ll work for non stress areas. I still use beef where it counts.

Feedback appreciated. I am up in the air about the chair skirt, what’s your opinion?

I built this one with the Popular Mechanics style back brace which make it much easier to assemble. I swept the back brace in a little so it would not steal the shape of the chair. How do you like it?

JMO, I’d say omit the scallops. Other than that it looks great.

I think I need a more subtle design. Sometimes I wish my BS had a thinner blade on it. I may have to order one from Timberwolf.

I’m working on a new design as we speak. Skirt is history.
