I’ve been searching for a Fox or Smitty SuperShop in any condition. Does anyone know where they are available?
DanK
EDIT:
As of 7/10/15 I have all the SuperShops I can use, but if you want to communicate here about them, I welcome that.

They are a ShopSmith on steroids. Here is where they used to be available. I don’t know why they haven’t taken down their site yet.

I started my business in IL with a ShopSmith. Then I became a dealer for Tony Fox SuperShop as a hobby. The machine was pretty easy to sell and it puzzled me why Tony could sell only 70 per month nationwide. He gave it up and 17 years later Smitty showed up with it. From what I can read, there are China knockoffs somewhere. One of the things that makes it valuable is that all the wear parts are available at any place that sells bearings and belts.

Dan,
Did you find one? I’ve got one (actually my mother does) in southern Wisconsin. Purchased new around 1998, used lightly for a couple years. We have all original manuals, many attachments, etc. Would like to sell it.

B2rtch, I would have bought two if I had known about it when it was happening! Oh well…

There is a SuperShop for sale at an estate sale I’ll be going to in Lansing, Michigan tomorrow:

CWolf, Rats. I just got back from MI family visit. That’s not the model I’m primarily interested in. I’m looking for the older ones that have the variable speed lateral feed. I’d take one of this model if the price was right.
This one would be a great machine for someone! I’d be interested in what it goes for.
Thank you for thinking of me!

They were asking $650 for the one at the estate sale. No one bought it during the first half hour of the sale while I was there. Prices drop to 50% today for most items, but I’m not sure if the SuperShop is included.
