Topic tags/keywords: question mahogany finishing rustic

I am in the process of applying the finish to the table, and have put on 5 coats of waterlox sealer finish with two slight sandings with 220 grit sandpaper after the 2nd and 4th application. The result has more shine than I want – the question is: Can I put a finish coat with Formby’s satin finish tung oil? Are the two types of finish compatible,
will there be a reaction?

If you are looking for more mahogany, check out this site:

They have mahogany crotches that don’t exist on the market anymore.
