Rotating project pictures

As far as I can tell, it needs to be done prior to uploading.

Otherwise, it’s most likely going to be a server-side operation. It’s not very hard to rotate the pics before you upload though.

Nice feature though and it’s available on other sites. I’m guessing since Amazon is hosting this stuff it’s probably something they’d have to offer on their end or develop on the site end.

Here’s the funny part, if I leave them in landscape they get rotated. If I rotate prior to uploading they don’t get rotated. I’ll figure it out. Just thought there may be some manipulation controls available after upload.

Are you loading from a mobile phone or a tablet? That could have something to do with it as those devices usually know which way to orient the pictures while the systems you’re uploading them to do not have that feature built in necessarily.

Doss, I’m uploading from a tablet. This evening I will play with it some more. I’ll let you know what happens.

The only excitement on this site right now is a side-wise picture. Why change it!!

Madts, I really miss the bantering. Go to my other post and let me know what you use for technology. You’re right though…maybe a sideways pic will start something up. Of course then sideways pics would be out with religion and politics.

BTW, I never used any filthy words (per Grizz) and still had fun. Now, Mike had some pretty stiff language skills.
