I saw this drill press online at a local auction house. Auction is Wednesday. Can anybody identify the brand and what price range I can expect? I would like to place a silent bid on it, but have no idea what would be a competative bid. Thanks |

Rockwell…..15-060 I believe. It is a 15” press and very desirable. It appears to have a VFD mounted on the left side which would mean it is a 3ph machine. DO NOT let that deter you from purchasing. The VFD will give you variable speed which can come in VERY handy on the drill press. As for price there are a lot of variables and as for a true and accurate price it would very hard to state with any accuracy. As for a ballpark price, my best guess would be $100-$250. But, you are looking at a machine that is 50 yrs old +/- a few years and in todays money, a $1500 press. Depending on how well the auction is advertised will also determine the final selling price. If I were you I would set a price and stick to it. Good luck -- My job is to give my kids things to discuss with their therapist....medic20447@gmail.com |

Good advice. But how will he get the press if he won’t win the auction? -- "someone has to be wounded for others to be saved, someone has to sacrifice for others to feel happiness, someone has to die so others could live" |
