I thought it would be nice to start a thread about of our favorite WW websites. There is some really good stuff out there that not everyone is aware of. Here is a few of the sites I reguarly check: For Free Video Instruction: WoodworkingOnline.Com – - – - If you haven’t been here, you are missing a treasure. They are up to 20 one hour podcasts on woodworking skills. I like the top 10 jig one. WoodWhisperer.com – - – Marc doesn’t have as much up as the one above, but they are as amusing as they are informative. Newwoodworker.com – - – A bunch of video tips and how-to’s Mattswoodshop.libsyn.com – - – I don’t go here too much because I don’t use hand tools that much. He has a lot of old school info and podcasts. TheWoodworkingchannel.com – - – They don’t update their rotation a whole lot, but what they have is good. Other Sites of Interest: Woodtalkonline.com – - – Matt & Marc’s collaborative audio podcast. Nice for the drive home! Shopnotes & Popular Woodworking – - – Both sites have great supplements to their printed magazine. YOUR TURN -- Jeff, South Carolina |
